David launched his Enviro Clean franchise in November 2021, bringing with him a strong background in sales and management. Over the years, he’s worked across a range of industries including insurance, the leisure sector, health and safety, and workplace vending solutions. After Covid-19, David found it difficult to adapt to working remotely. “The training was online which, for myself, I found hard,” he explains. “I’m a people person and love meeting people.”
Drawn to the freedom and variety that comes with being on the road in an Enviro Clean van, David quickly found his stride as a franchisee. “Having been in sales, I love the freedom of being on the road. Visiting new villages, towns and counties,” he says. Just weeks after completing his training, David began generating his own work. Now, nearly four years on, he runs a successful two-van operation and is typically booked 10 days in advance- an impressive result driven by his proactive approach and people-focused mindset.

Between January and July 2025, David achieved a turnover of £71k. He’s built a strong customer base with a 26% repeat rate and maintains a consistent marketing spend of £25–£55 per day to keep his business visible and growing.
