Is there anything I should prepare before the technician arrives?
To ensure the best possible results, we ask that you vacuum the areas that you wish to be cleaned a few days prior to your appointment. Please also move any large furniture items that a single technician cannot comfortably handle, although our operatives are happy to assist with smaller items. This helps save time and allows us to complete the job efficiently.
Do you accept payments in cash?
Yes- we accept Cash, Card, Contactless, & Bank transfer. We also only request payment once the job is completed- no deposit required.
Is there a charge for cancelling or changing an appointment?
We’re happy to reschedule or cancel your appointment, as long as we receive notice more than 24 hours in advance. For cancellations made within 24 hours of your appointment, a £50 cancellation fee will apply.
How can I confirm a booking with you?
Our customer service team will contact you 24 hours before your appointment to confirm parking arrangements and ensure there is sufficient access to your property for our larger cleaning equipment.

How long will it take for my carpet to dry after cleaning?
Thanks to our powerful industrial steam cleaning machines, your carpets typically dry within just 2–3 hours. However, please note that drying times can vary depending on factors such as humidity, temperature, and the level of airflow in the room.
Do you move my furniture?
Our technicians will move your furniture to clean underneath at no extra cost if it’s safe and manageable to do so. Please remove any household items like plants, lamps, and other objects before we arrive, as this really helps our carpet cleaning techniques work effectively. If a piece of furniture is too heavy to move or cannot be moved safely, we won’t move it but we will clean around it as thoroughly as possible.
How long does it take Enviro Clean to clean the carpet?
On average, it will take our technicians around 20 minutes per room. This time can vary depending on the amount of furniture to be moved, the size of the room and also the level of soilage.

Can you guarantee that stains will be removed?
While our technicians strive to remove all carpet spots and stains, some may be permanent and cause lasting discolouration. The carpet’s age and material also affect the chances of complete stain removal.
Should I vacuum before the cleaner arrives?
It’s not required, but it is appreciated. A quick vacuum beforehand can help lift surface debris and allows our deep cleaning process to deliver the best possible results.
Do you offer any odour removal guarantees?
Our technicians use a specialised odour removal treatment that targets and neutralises unpleasant smells in your carpet.
The treatment encapsulates odour molecules, effectively trapping and eliminating them from your space. After application, we recommend airing the area to speed up the process.
While highly effective, complete odour removal cannot be guaranteed.
Can professional carpet cleaning remove dog urine?
Yes, we can professionally clean and treat stains caused by pet urine, as well as other bodily fluids such as blood and faeces.
We also offer a protective treatment called Enviro Guard, which helps prevent future accidents and spills from penetrating deep into carpet or upholstery fibres.

What’s your process for cleaning upholstery?
We begin by assessing the condition of your upholstery- whether it simply needs refreshing or has specific spots or stains that require targeted treatment.
Based on the fabric type and the issue at hand, we select the most suitable and effective cleaning solution. This is then applied and gently agitated into the fibres to ensure even coverage and maximum effectiveness.
Finally, we extract all residues and speed up the drying process using DRI-PODs, helping your upholstery dry faster.
My upholstery label says “dry clean only”, can you still treat it?
Yes, we can. Even if your furniture is labeled “dry clean only,” our trained technicians will always test the fabric first to determine the safest and most effective cleaning method before proceeding.
How long does upholstery take to dry after being cleaned?
Upholstery typically dries within 4 to 6 hours. However, drying times can vary depending on factors like humidity, temperature, and airflow. While we aim for quick drying, exact times can’t be guaranteed due to these environmental conditions.
Should I clean my upholstery frequently?
Most furniture manufacturers recommend professional upholstery cleaning every 6 to 12 months to maintain fabric quality, appearance, and hygiene.
What types of upholstery material can you clean?

Why is it important to apply stain protection after cleaning?
Applying Enviro Guard after cleaning is essential because it creates an invisible barrier that repels both oil- and water-based stains. This protection helps keep your carpets and upholstery looking fresh longer, prevents stubborn stains from setting in, and makes future cleaning easier. Plus, Enviro Guard is safe for children and pets, so it’s perfect for busy households.
Does Stain protection last a long time?
Once applied by our technician, Enviro Guard can protect your carpets and upholstery for 2 to 3 years, depending on usage and care.
Will the stain protector change how my carpet or upholstery looks or feels?
No, not at all. Enviro Guard is completely invisible and fragrance-free, so it won’t alter the look or smell of your carpets or upholstery.
What should I do if I spill something on a newly protection treated area?
Take a clean, dry cloth and carefully blot the liquid on the fibre’s surface to soak up any excess.
Does my carpet already include a protective coating?
Although most carpets come with a factory-applied protective layer, daily wear and cleaning gradually wear this down. Over time, this reduces your carpet’s resistance to stains and dirt, making spills and spots harder to remove. As an add-on service, we offer Enviro Guard for your freshly cleaned carpet.
Rug Cleaning
Is it possible for you to come and clean my rug at my home?
We are exclusively mobile, so offer rug cleaning on-site at your property for convenience and efficiency.
If my rug is cleaned at my property, how long does it take to dry?
On average, rugs take around 4 to 6 hours to dry completely. However, drying times can vary depending on humidity, room temperature, and airflow. While we aim for fast drying, these environmental factors may affect the exact time.
Do you clean Oriental, Persian or delicate rugs?
Yes, we do. Oriental, Persian, and other delicate rugs require special care during the cleaning process, but our technicians have expert training for these treatments.
