Tommy Laven joined Enviro Clean Southport in October 2023 after a career as a site manager. Frustrated with working for someone else and seeking more freedom, he wanted a business that was easy to set up, quick to get running, and allowed him to choose his own working hours. From day one, Tommy began generating his own work, which now makes up around 95% of his business. Initially, he also relied on Enviro Clean head office jobs for the first three months, providing a smooth start while building his own client base. He is now typically booked two weeks in advance, with a steady flow of work.
When we asked Tommy about the Enviro Clean support, Tommy said: “It was good to start and has gotten even better with regular Zoom meetings to improve the service and knowledge.”
To fuel further growth, Tommy invests around £1,200 per month in marketing, including Google and Facebook ads.
In his first year, he achieved a gross turnover of £63,000, surpassing his expectations.
